15,000km is the FIRST log book service. Anywhere between $300 and $480 depending on the dealership you go to.

there's a whole lot more involved than just labour, oil/filter/sump plug and gst. when i get a chance, i'll scan my 15,000km checklist. I think I was charged $330 or so at Burwin out in Ferntree Gully (Melbourne).

hi rocket, that would be great if you can post the scan.
dont mind paying $480 to VW, but when i rang to confirm my wifes booking, they were supposed to have a courtesy car for her, and you know what? not avail.

i asked why other dealers can do it as low as 350ish they said parts have gone up, bluntly? thanx a lot!

I paid around $250 for 15k service on R36 in Bris then got a letter from VW with free servicing to 45k (which I had no idea about when purchasing and wasn't mentioned at point of sale) so refunded and now don't pay a cent until 60k service.

Who did your 15k service for $250?

The cheapest I could find was $330 and that was at Springwood. Ipswich and Albion were both dearer.

Got to book mine in soon.
