The differences are in the way the emissions systems are managed in US market models compared to that of the rest of the world. For the Asia-Pacific market, we use the CCTA engine which is based on the Euro 4 emissions standards. The US market follows the CARB (California Air Review Board) standard. The European and US emissions systems have different sets of plumbing which is why some things like air intakes and induction systems are not interchangeable.
Most US tuners with the exception of 2 or 3, do not take this into consideration.
