Hi guys just sprayed my badges today looking at doing wheels, followed by the roof. Just wondering if i should do all of the grill section or would that be a overkill?![]()

I say do all the grill section.
But i am biased because i changed mine from glossy silver to black that way.
Please don't plastidip the roof.
If you want a matt finish then do it the right way and at least have it vinyl wrapped.

Why do you suggest not to spray the roof?

+1 beat me to it!!
Plasti-dip is a little hard to apply super-even out of a spray can so in a large surface like a bonnet or roof it's much easier to get a clean finish out of wrapping and vinyl comes of easy too![]()
Also the finish on plasti-dip is a rubberised finish and is less permanent than vinyl wrap.
If done professionally vinyl is probably not that more expensive either.
I agree I think you'd regret plasti-dipping the roof. Small fiddly bits are perfect but not for large surfaces unless you buy in bulk and get it professionally sprayed.... but if you're going to that effort you should wrap it.

It's Horrible to keep clean and not to mention the overspray it will leave on the rest of your car if not completely covered.

Don't dip! Wrap. Private message me if you need a contact. Also I wrapped my front grill on my B7, it turned out great..
