oh yeah, we listened to the standard stereo in last years V6 and thought, yeah, pretty good, but once you hear the Dynaudio with some GOOD music, there was not even a remote chance of getting one without it!!! we love our music clear and loud.

never heard the dynaudio either, and was really considering adding it to the options list, but didn't.

the dealer said 'don't bother' and I had previously had an upgraded Bose system in my RX8 and never really noticed any difference - did help with resale though I must say.

would be really interested in hearing the dynaudio - even though its too late now!

That's because BOSE is crap... there's a reason people often say it stands for 'Buy Other Sound Equipment'

Dynaudio on the other hand actually know what the heck they're doing! Their drivers (not necessarily car ones) are used in A LOT of high end speakers... and their car drivers aren't exactly cheap either.

Couldn't agree more. I sold hifi for some years and had more than a few experiences with Bose. There are a product of excellent marketing but unfortunately that's where the excellence ends. They are poorly made with cheap componenets and little attention to such details as sound quality.

The old saying in the industry used to be; "all highs, all lows, gotta be Bose" They seemed to ignore the all important mid range where the majority of the information is carried.

Dynaudio on the other hand have a reputation for building some of the best speakers in the world. To compare them with Bose would be like comparing Bentley with Kia.

Hi, Just purchased a VW R36 Black Sedan. Have had it for now just over a week. What a CAR!!!!!!! Very impressed with it! Question! Did you upgrade to a Dynaudio Sound System after 3 months? or did you get it with the car. Is there a option to get the Dynaudio after?

    Cheers

Apparently it is possible to get Dynaudio after, but it's very, very, very expensive and is not going to work as well as a factory Dynaudio setup.

I wish I had it - long story short, I was a week too late in my decision so I'm Dynaudio-less.
    R36 =
