Auto Hold is either on of off by default. Hence there's a button. Not hard to press a button!
Not fully "auto" close afaik but if you hold the lock button down, any open windows will close while holding it (and the sunroof if you have one).
Hi,
Car is pretty standard as I ordered it off the slow boat from Germany.
Silver Leaf
Station Wagon
125kw 2.0 TDI
Heated Leather Seats
That's it - no other accessories.
I am getting Volkspower to retrofit an RNS-510, MDI, Skoda BT Kit and reverse camera in January.
The car was delivered ONE DAY too late, otherwise I could have had the lot fitted on Tuesday
The ride and general comfort level is way smoother than my Jetta (which admittedly had 18" rims and sports suspension).
Build date is 23rd Sep 09, so I should be able to get my Bluefin reset by Superchips, and then up the Passat.
Will also get windows tinting which after talking with the tinters (same mob that does Berwick VW) I will have to get non-metallic the whole way.
Love the Optical Parking Sensors - I always reverse park and with the OPS it is a no brainer.
Still coming to terms with the hand brake automatic hold function.
Love the functionality, pain in the arse when reverse parking and I turn it off.
Is there a way to automatically turn it on when I start the car and disable it only when reversing - that would be sweet.
NB: I was trying to show a mate the hold functionality and it wouldn't turn on!!!!
As soon as he went inside and I went to drive off I hit the console button (again) and it turned on.
I will have to RTFM and understand the process involved me thinks.
Can the windows be programmed to auto close when locking the car?
The Jetta had that functionality.
Also getting a Viper car alarm fitted next month - added functionality not available in Oz yet as an add on module gives you the ability to receive car alarms on your iPhone via the Viper .app plus remote unlock, kill the car, remote start the car to warm it up, etc.
