Pic Request: B5.5 Passat on 19" Wheels

Looking at getting some new shoes for my passat, either VMR710's or Audi RS4's. Looking at 19x8.5 with either 225/35/19 or 235/35/19 tyres. From what I've read, these should fit with an offset of between 35-45, but because I'm going to buy the wheels without tyres, i'm not gonna be able to try them on.

Also plan on lowering 1.5inches right after i get the wheels....so basically, anyone had experience with this kind of set up, or have pics to see what they look like? et35 should sit pretty flush i think, but I want to know if anyone has any issues with rubbing? Don't mind the tucked look but afraid it might rub the control arms.

Pics of what this would look like, and/or experiences with this kind of set up would be awesome, cheers

With regard to lowering why not go coil overs and set the height as you want it.

I tried two spring and shock setups but now have KW Street Comfort Coilovers and couldn't be happier. Super ride and great handling.
