Whoops! I assumed it was a Workshop Manual you were after. I retract my last comment - it may be easier to get an owners manual but as apom says it might have to be a scan from someone.

The manual is around 50mm thick. Would be a toss up as to whether the scanning was finished or your car arrived first.Is anyone game to do this out of the kindness of their hearts?

Which part of the owner's manual are you after? It's made up of about 8 separate books.
If all else fails, you can order them through VW spare parts.

I'm not sure what the 8 different books are.
If there is a 'core functionality' book that talks about MFD, seat adjustment/programming, instrument layout, that kind of thing - that would be cool. Is there an R36 specific appendix? I did find a PDF manual for the RCD510 on a different forum so that'll keep me busy for a while!
