    Question Passat Window Tint

    Hi,

I am after good tinting company that could do a proper job for a MY10 Passat Wagon in Melbourne.

Would love to hear form memebers here for recommendation.

Also would ppl know if tinter needs to undo interior trim to get tint done? I believe so if not how could they place the film on.

    Thanks in advance.

Please don't go too dark on the driver and front passenger side windows. I am a regular bicycle commuter and it is extra dangerous to not be able to see if a car driver has sighted you, especially when you are riding in front of stopped cars at intersections.

Tint Professor. They are not bad and did my previous car. For my VW i got it done by the dealership before delivery as part of the package.

    Thanks bennobee,

Thanks for the info there. Yeah I used them on my other car. Though there price is cheap, but their workman ship is a bit average. I later found they must of took the door trim off and one of clip is not properly put back on. Thats why I wanted to see if anyone had experience tinter who worked on VW and Passat before. I think in the worst case I will take out most trims and get tinter just to do the tint. Cos I do find VW trims are hard to undo and you do need care to do it not a one hour job thing.

    Cheers mate.

    Greentea5b,

    Welcome to the forum!

Back in 2008 i got my R36 wagon done at Tint-A-Car in Nth Melbourne. They did a great job and i didn't have any issues post install of loose trim. Still happy with the work they did today, hope this helps.

    Cheers,

    Jayse.

    Hi Jayse,

That sounded promising. Will give them ago.

    Thx.
