I was hoping to trade my '86 Celica. But they offered me $100.

So I held onto it and sold it privately before the car arrived. The dealer should contact you once it arrives off the boat. From that point it's about 2 - 3 weeks before you get it. So you could try to sell your car then and the timing might be just right. If you want more money for your car though, you may need to sell earlier or live with the extra car for a while.
There definitely is still room to negotiate after the corporate discount so go for it. Who knows what they will do for the sale right now.
Not sure about MY10 but you now have the choice of a few extra options that early MY09 missed. I think ACC (Assisted Cruise Control) and Lane Assist may be available. They are mentioned in the current brochure and appear in my car handbook (a massive Passat bible!).
Ah, I can't believe I'm sitting here wishing I was sitting in the car instead. Not necessarily driving, but just sitting in the leather seats and smelling that new car smell. Aahhh...
Tell your wife that my wife absolutely loves the car! I have not been able to wipe the smile off her face. I think she even fell asleep smiling! Haha, seriously it's a great car and I think the long wait has made us treasure it even more. Trying to not be materialistic, but we really love the car.
BTW, I'm happy to post up the spec and price that we negotiated. At least you'll have an idea if you're able to ask for more off. Mind you this was negotiated back in January, it may be different (more/less) now.
