    Cool Passat V6 chipped?

Hi VDubbers, has any one fitted or experienced putting chip in to Passat?
If so what cost and what benefits? Any bad experiences?

You can get a V6 Passat chipped, unfortunately the gains per dollar are not the same as with a turbo'd car and most folk would question whether the expense is justified.

i undertsand that the most common chip is the tiptronic chip for the v6, increases revs and reduces shift lag apparently

I've been told the same thing about chipping the ECU.

Where would I get an exhaust for my Passat in Brisbane?
Where would I go for an auto chip?

GIAC do the autobox chip and are the only ones that do. Shift times down froma lazy second to .2 of a second when using the tip.

Exhaust probably best to get one made, off the shelf ones cost a pretty penny.
