Toggle switches work wonders for reversing lights.

Is this car from Penrith way?

Does the sunroof glass have the same seal / stamp as the window glass?

Nice score by the way, I`ll have to come and see that one.

They didn't have factory glass sunroofs then.

I'm not sure, but I imgine the switch is similar to Golfs which shouldnt be a problem.

You have to undo the rear gearbox mount and lower the box down to get at the switch. They are different to the golf switch unfortunately. Usually the wires get messed up stopping the lights from working. I reckno that a new switch would be hard to find these days?

It's the same switch as Golfs and is still available new.
Also fits most Audis up to mid '90s.

Without getting into an argument here, the passat reverse light switch is the same as Audi, part no. 084 941 521. Golf, 020 945 415A from memory
    Cheers!

    084 941 521 Also fits Golf.
Could be a superceeded part number or maybe for a small motor (1100/1300etc) but ETKA lists it for Golfs 1/2.
