So woke up 7am this morning and right outside my bedroom window my car door was wide open....

Looked around, no visible sign of entry. slight markings on the door but i cannot recall whether they were there beforehand. all compartments open, nothing stolen, and the prick left ash all through my car.

Im a pedantic checker that the car is locked. my question is does the car lock automatically after a period of time? i thought that it did (i know i don't have the keyss functionality)

Only thing i can think is that i bumped the key when coming through the front door after a ride last night. again, thought it would lock after a while anyway.

Police are taking prints today, just wish i woke when they did it. can't believe the audacity to attempt to theive outside our bedroom window.

Still doesn't seem to be anything wrong so im one of the lucky ones.
