Nice - a lovely piece of the world. A few years ago I organised a Targa Trail with the ACT MX5 car club. Had 8 MX5s on some of the best roads and scenery around. Even went on roads I'd never seen before despite years of touring around Tassie (including a 6 month stint living there in 1999).

I remember one section in particular in the Huon Valley that had a B grade road suddenly turn into a race track smooth, beautifully cambered surface (coincidently at the start of a stage) then a few kms down the road suddenly went back to the B grade quality (coincidently at the end of the stage) - all in the middle of nowhere.
