the car was stock as a rock, and it went really well....granted the rainy conditions helped, but it certainly surprised a few people...

i think there will be another event around November...

And a tatty 1.8 GT that I paid £62.50 for off ebay, with 5 months rego, cost £50 to get the MOT, £40 for the test and £10 for wiper blades.

Glad you posted these Gav, getting pretty boring looking at the new stuff.Yes they are hot but thought it was a passat appreciation thread? Lets get some more old stuff, suppose thats all they know here mate. Mind you dont know how an Rp engined Passat would have coped over here.

Just added the 18x8 rims(original AUDI for $400 off ebay, a steal) with 235/40, ready for the new lowered springs/shocks.

This car is in perfect condition as when I bought it less than 12 mths ago.
