passat engines and gearboxes?

hi dubbers,

got a few questions regarding the passat (audi a4 too) engine and gearbox options we got in AUS.

so from my research there's a 20v, 20vT, VR6 (12v), and a 90 degree V6 30v

but which ones came out as longitudinal engine and trans-axle gearbox?
did all these engines have manual as a option?
and will a R32 (24v 3.2 V6) bolt up to a V6 or 20V/20VT trans-axle gearboxes, without mods
