Hi, i have a problem with the climatronic flap motor. In the service station they have told me that my
"flap motor" is up the spout (3C1 907 511 F), supposedly used for regulating the position of the flap regulating the intake outside-inside air coming through to the cabin.
Some time ago i noticed that there is noise coming out of the centre of the dash (something like grinding), and that
all sorts of bad smells are coming in - which never before happened.
Regarding this motor and the labor is very expensive in a service station over here, i found a used one on e-bay
for a tenth of the price, finally got it, and i am eager to get some "oil" on my fingers changing it :)
My question is - has anyone tried to replace this motor him or herself and i would be grateful for some advice
how to disassemble the dash without braking anything - again...? :)
By the way, there is a pic of the motor in the attachment
THX in advance, jura
Never got around to do it properly... My first - and last - look of the motor was "there is no easy way to do this". As far as i can see, it is positioned in the center of the console, somewhere behind the audio system towards the steering wheel. If no one has an idea how to do this properly, there is nothing left for me than take it to the authorised dealer for service, because now the problem escalated from "sometimes not being able to set the temperature" to "almost not possible to set the temperature" on my climatronic.
Anyone have any last ideas on the subject..?
thx in advance
