Passat B6 125TDi - Every single warning light on, engine will not start

This morning I went to go start the car to go to work and..... nothing. It might fire for a second, but it won't stay running. Every warning light is either on or flashing. I ran a scan with VCDS and it came up with this...

Looking at that I'd say I have a defective powerstrain data bus... whatever that is. If anyone has any help or advice it would be much appreciated. It is due for a service so I will book it in and see what they can make of it, but that will probably have to be a couple of weeks away

I'd be looking at the battery connections and the terminals by the battery. So many faults can only come from one failure.

It's not wierd. My suggestion is battery connection - just as it was 20 years ago when the dash lights would come on but wouldn't start.

Well bit of an update, I had the battery replaced a couple of weeks ago. It didn't fix my problem so I booked it in for a service and explained what was going on. In the end it had to be towed to the dealership (the tow truck driver and I are now on a first name basis) and they kept it for a week trying to find the problem. Decided it was the immobiliser so they recoded it and all the keys. Rang me today to say it was ready to pick up and that it was all fixed, but I got half way home and it started again!!! This time I took a video to show them when I take the car back in the morning...

And it does that over and over again...
