It also depends on the wheel alignment - very quiet last year after i had an alignment done, then I pulled the front suspension apart in March & they got a bit noisy again and I doubt that the setting changed more than a mm or 2.

If you are really concerned about noise then the Toyo Teo+ & Yokohama DB are very quiet.

Michelin PS3 are a great all-rounder too but you won't quite get the mileage of the Primacy HP.

I believe theres a new Primacy out now as well Primacy3?

I will probably go for nokian tyres...

Good luck with that. They would be a step or 2 below what I was recomending but if the price is right...

Keep in mind that Nokian are a Northern European brand that promote their abilityy in cold climates / snow. Maybe they won't fair so well in Australian heat.

For the sake of $40(??) a tyre I wouldn't bother. I've had dissapointing tyres before & having to live with them for 2 or 3 years gets annoying. Every drive is like having your missus say "I told you so"

You're probably looking around the $150-$180 mark for those. There are cheaper tyres but you'll soon forget the price.
Ok...after research i got two solution:
    - toyo teo
    - bridgstone potenza adrenallin r002

    What do you think?

Bridgestone RE002. It is a performance oriented tyre with excellent wet and dry grip and handling. Excellent performance for the dollar. Maybe a tiny bit noisy if you are looking for a super quiet tyre. Loved them on my previous Liberty GT turbo.

I can't comment on the Toyo.

You should give the newly released Michelin Primacy 3 ST a try, which appears to be specifically designed to give a quiet ride.

Being a Michelin, it's also likely to give a decent tread life.

Adreniline is a good tyre & Amalgam describes it very accurately.

Toyo Teo would better suit what appears to be your driving style but you wouldn't be dissapointed in the Bridgestone. (or the new Primacy)

If you are a Bridgestone user you won't be disappointed.
