So 111 what's you take on load ratings for the Passat?
All the 235/35r19 tyres I've been looking at are rated '91' and the sticker on the fuel lid ranges from '91' to '95' depending on the rim size (although there is no mention of 19" wheels on the sticker). Would it be safe/legal to run tyres rated 91's on a wagon?

91 as far as i have been advised is the lowest you can run on the wagon, anything lower is risky if you have an accident....

if there is a tyre that can run 20inch and is 91 plus ill run it in the meantime all of the wheels i have for my car are 19 or 18

Thanks 111. I feel better now seeing as I've finally ordered my 19's and H&R coilovers.
The Sumitomo tyres I ordered are load rated 91.
I'll share pics when it's all together in about 3 weeks

moving to 255/35/19 gives lots of options for tyres with an appropriate load rating...this means that the wheel diameter is 16mm larger than oem (8mm difference at the top), which should be fine...

Nice wheels Daljoo, does look like there is next to no tyre though lol
I think 19s and lowered would be suited to AUS roads more.
