So the OP wants to disable them..... - who cares why he does. He didn't ask for everyones opinion as to whether he should or not..... This forum really is unbelievable sometimes......

Vossy - maybe Swallowtail (or someone else) knows the way to get around it using VAGCOM - maybe wait for him to post whether its possible or not - otherwise as Lance B says - you might just need to get into the habit of turning them off manually each time.

Pana: We only care why the OP wants to disable them because he told us why he wants to disable them - in a pretty offensive way. In fact, he even said "Sorry if this offends anyone" so he knew that some people would be offended.

I agree this forum is pretty unbelieveable sometimes - I can't believe how often people make statements they know are going to offend other people, then appear to get offended by people taking offence.

Well, I was one of the one's that wasn't offended in the slightest and in fact I could care less why the OP wants to turn them off. I was merely poining out the benefits of having sensors that the OP may not have thought of or hasn't yet had the opportunity to use them for.

I did offer a reasonable suggestion for turning them off by getting into the habit of switching them off each time you select reverse.

A grown, thinking(questionable) adult being wiped out by a reversing R36 could be considered an example of natural selection, whereas a child of immature mind probably not.

His opinion - as far as I'm concerned he's entitled to it.

Maybe he was out troll with his "sorry if this offends anybody" - does it mean everyone has to take the bait??? They say for a reason.
