    Parking bulb replacement R36

Anyone able to help me out and advise how to change a blown front parking bulb on a r36?

OK, according to my Haynes manual for a diesel....

Halogen (which I don't think are fitted to an R36..):
Remove the plastic cover from the rear of the headlight.
Pull the bulb holder from the headlight.
Pull the wedge-type bulb from the bulb holder.
    Refit in reverse order.

From the photos, it looks like a round cover about the size of a 20c coin.

    For xenon headlights:
Be aware of the voltage present behind the headlights (up to 28,000V), disconnect the battery earth cable and turn the headlights on and off to discharge any energy present.

Prise apart the retaining clips and remove the plastic cap from the rear of the headlight.
Grip the bulb holder and pull it from the reflector.
Pull the bulb out from the bulb holder
Refit new bulb in reverse order.

    Hope that helps.

Passatpout has it right, only you don't need to disconnect battery if lights are off and car is off.
All wiring looms and ballasts are more than ample in their shielding.
