    Question Outside Temp Sensor R36

Does anyone know the location of the outside temp. sensor on the R36.
Mine was reading 52 degrees today.
It has had high readings before when stuck in traffic etc but never just driving along.
I know it has been bloody hot in Sydney, but not 52 degrees.
Is there any known way to calibrate the sensor ?

    Cheers

They react pretty slowly to changes in temp. Especially on the way back down. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see 50 degrees in traffic. The heat radiated off the road combined with radiator fans and stuff.

Bureau of Meteorology temps are taken in the shade, not in full sunlight. 42.5 in the shade would easily translate to 50+ in direct sunlight.
You know you are getting old when you cancel your order for a 3.6 CC and buy an Icelandic Gray TDI CC instead.
