You should have the front parking sensor switch next to the gear stick, does that not work for you?

Does your car have park assist or just parking sensors. Has it got sensors in the front bumper Park assist has extra ones in both bumpers on the sides

Mine tells me when I get to close at the front without me doing anything with buttons but then it has all the fruit

I got park assistant. Also i have front and rear sensors....next to gear stick i can see park button but not botton for sensors. I you change gear to reverse all sensons showing distance and that is fine. I would like to know how i gonna activate sensors without changing gear....is that possible?

I think that was only for the B7s and later. For the B6 Passats, to the best of my knowledge, you have to either select reverse or press the button to activate the sensors. From memory, the OPS only kicks in with reverse gear, not the button.

Drive slowly towards a wall to check
Remember to stop before the 'crunch'.
