    2day i spoke to muller guys, and they told me to use fully synthetic otherwise my turbo might stuff up?

    X 3 always full....i always have used magnatec its 100% synthetic...also its what a VW place put in it when i first got the car serviced....u need to make sure you dont just buy the filter off the shelf....the valvoline filter off the shelf will fit but is 1/2 the size of the OEM filter....You dont want no sludge!!

    I am not sure yet with the new engine I have a bit of a short list:
    Valvoline - Engine Armour
    Fuchs - Titan GT Plus
    Titan Super GTO
    Castrol - Magnatec 10w 40
    GTX3 15w40
    Nulon - 15w40 Modern Engine Oil
    Penrite - HPR 10

    Most of these I think a blends.

    1974 Passat LS with a SEAT 1.8, 32/36 Weber, full performance exhaust and a K&N filter. 80kw at the wheels??
