i guess the wreckers.
Hi guys need your help. I have a 2006 Passat 2.0tdi and it requires a new ABS module. Were is the best place to get a second hand unit from?? And can you re-code for the new module. Thanks guys.
i guess the wreckers.
I had to replace the abs module in my MkV Golf, mechanic sourced a second hand one at a reasonable cost.
I had a copy of the coding from the original unit before it died which made it easier.

I can personally recommend this business: 403 Forbidden in Sydney to repair your existing module.
He is a one man operation and previously fixed the ABS module in my AU Falcon. When I was there he was repairing an ECU in a Lamborghini Diablo - the price for a new one was $15K!!
I note on this product list he specifically mentions VW Passats.
Btw, my surname really is "Newby"...
