That's not bad at all, boxer.
Needed new tyres as well (after 46,000, with plenty of scalloping, whoopwhoopwhoop) to replace my Pirelli P Zero Rosso, and decided to go with Dunlop Sport Maxx TT.
Fitted today, about $300/corner. Too early to make any sort of statement except that they're quieter - but of course that'd apply even if truck tyres had been fitted.
Had decent write-ups so I can't foresee any issues.

...at Tyresplus(formerly Eastland Tyres) 61 Bond St. Ringwood. They're Michelin & Conti dealers, nice guy, definately worth knowing. The bigger retailers, (Bob Jane, Beaurepaire etc.) provide the mass market, ie predominately cheaper tyres on cheaper cars, they have to 'bring in' the brands like conti & mich. They were quoting $270 - $300 for these tyres. I've been there before , and I'll be going back.
