    New Shoes for the Passat

Hey guys, just thought would put up a couple of pics of the new wheels for the wagon.

They are 19x8 with 245/35/19 tyres.

Hopefully will get some springs soon to drop the gap a bit. Cause I use this for the daily commute and towing wont be going real low, but should hopefully get rid of the 4WD look.

nice look, how are the 19's compared to normal in terms of ride quality. My R36 is still standard on the 18's and with the current suspension i don't think I would wont to go and lower in profile

I haven't actually found it to be harsh at all. I went from 17's to 19's and i was thinking it may be a little too firm for everyday driving, but it has been fine.
No doubt when I lower it, it will get firmer. The springs I am looking at will bring it down to approx R36 height and firmness (approx 30mm from standard)

I found in the Golf with sport suspension that it is much firmer then the Passat and it is on 17's.
Overall though I am looking to firm the Passat up a bit, as after driving the Golf, the Passat feels a bit like a bus.

    Thanks guys.
The wheels are a 45 offset with 245/35/19 Altenzo tyres. Now these are a cheaper brand of tyre (made by PDW Australia) but thought would see how they go. Wanted a harder tyre cause found the standard Bridgestones a little soft.

The springs I am look at are the ones off the ECS Tuning website
