Far too many cold ones. What a great day weather wise.

Shame I parked the car right under a birds nest. Bird Poo everywhere on Sunday Morning....

Look forward to that coffee next time I am over that way.

PS - Cons. 9.9L/100km, Avg Speed 109km/h and 2hr40mins from Kaleen to Ryde. Pretty happy with that.
Confirmed Global Warming Sceptic. No Longer a VW Owner -Loving my new 2011 Range Rover Sport - bought as VW unable to provide info on the new Toureg despite it being released overseas 12 mths ago. 2008 R36 Wagon, 2006 GTI and 2004 R32 - Gone. Sorry VW, you make great cars but until you improve your customers' experiences you will lose customers

Any of you that are still considering the cat-back, I got mine fitted this week and can confirm that there is absolutely no drone at all It has a very nice sound, similar to standard but just that litttle bit more meaty (especially at low revs) whilst not over the top. At higher speeds and constant throttle you can hardly hear it, and driving on the freeway at 100 km/h you can't hear it at all, windows closed or open!
These boys have really developed an awesome exhaust as it does all the things you want it to and none of the things you don't want it to do!

And something else...... I can't stop kneeling behind the car to look under it at the system, very very sexy, massive stainless pipes feeding into the rear mufflers.

BTW the wagon system is slightly different to the sedan and my comments relate to the wagon. The boys at Evolve believed that the system for the wagon is marginally quieter, but Neil can probably clarify this as I haven't heard a sedan yet in real life.

Hard to measure the difference for me as I got it fitted at 1,100 km's and am not fully imbedded with the car's performance yet. My engine still needs to loosen up so I expect some further improvements down the track (20K-30K). I didn't time acceleration pre- and post install as that isn't my main purpose. I think if you are after substantial performance gains you will have to go a bit further than just the last part of the exhaust, like air-intake and cat removal etc. At this stage I am after the improvement in sound and will be considering air-intake and cat removal down the track once i've got some more km's on the car. Having the exhaust done I will get maximum gain from further modifications.

I know a catback zorst only makes a smallish power gain, But surely you would have felt some improvement. I think of you do a catback, you also need to do a chip upgrade as well to amke it worthwhile.

So did the guys at Evolve, until they tried to fit the system to the car. The rear mufflers are different (slightly longer I believe).
