I haven't seen one in the flesh yet, but I've got a bulletin that VW emailed to me on them.
Looks cool, but I'm interested is finding out it's advantages and limitations.
Got a call from the dealer today as I ordered the std blue tooth for the my R36. He told me that I can have a new bluetooth unit which comes with a screen mounted on your dash or windscreen which you can see who is calling, contact list etc etc. All i need is to be able to answer calls so that is why i ordered the std one. I will mount my I phone on the windscreen so I can see who is calling and search for numbers from the phone along with the phone having GPS it will all be in one display.
So I gather the way I am wanting to do it will be alot less complicated without having multiple screen on my dash or where ever I mount them.
Has anyone been offered this and if so what's your thoughts on it if you have one.

Not seen one yet, hopefully will be fitting them soon...............VW..............
why why why won't they just bring in the 729? It works brilliantly, interfaces with MFD and RNS... why on earth would I want ANOTHER display device?!?!?! What are they smoking?
Well bugger it. I picked my car up and told them to put the std bluetooth in which works great with the I phone. So I have now ordered the tomtom cradle which is also a charger so it will be my display for the phone so I will only have one screen not two. KISS philosophy.
