NZ specs list for MY13 VERY interesting.
BUT, local dealer says still waiting for MY13 Australian options spec and price list.
Does not want to quote from MY12 spec
Does anyone have access to MY13 options Australian price spec?
Also I suspect extended warranty much more expensive for Passat 125TDI than for golf.
Was $1500 two years ago for my 118TSI. (VW Allianze)
Perhaps this reflects on older Passat injectors reliability?

Local dealers have had spec for at least 2 months, options haven't changed and there are no new options. Rvc, elec tailgate and rns510 sat nav are now standard. base price remains the same as the my12.5 which results in about 5k in saving.

The only other two changes is driver assistance and visibility pack option is upgraded to include side assist and v6 gets steering wheel paddles.

May be a stupid question, but I assume that with its delay to Nov 2012, the Alltrack will now be in line with MY13? Would be bizarre if not, but where marketing decisions are involved rationality often takes a backseat.

Anybody going to Sydney auto show and can check, please?

    Thanks Booba
Only options list I have been able to see is the NZ list previously referred to.
Appreciate the two major changes re satnav and tailgate.
    Looking to buy 125TDI sedan
My sales brochure is for MY12, which makes no mention of the reverse camera, option OR standard
I note for NZ, Steering wheel paddles are option. (Would like but not indicated in MY12 brochure)
12way power seat (I want) But don't know price
Plus of course dynaudio. (I think $2000.00? )

NZ spec also has massage drivers seat!

When buying golf dealer gave me copy of all options and prices.
Wonder if his reluctance due to unsold MY12 stock?

I have uploaded the price list for you.

    http://www.passatv6.com/wp-content/u.../09/passat.pdf

You will need sports pack for paddles as you aren't looking at v6. my12 sales brochure doesn't have rvc because that was right after the japan tsunami and rvc parts were scarce. it was reintroduced around my12.5 and became standard in my13.

But they've increased the visibility & driver's assistance package to a whopping $3300 option! That is the most expensive Bixenon HL I've seen. Yes, you get all these other gadgets, but for most people including myself, I don't need lane departure warning or blind spot warning. It's kinda stupid they combine these 2 packages.

Maybe VW Aus is trying to give Superb a chance to survive.
