The saga is finally over. Collected the car yesterday and TBH it was nice to drive again however it seems noisier than I remember but it is still smooth as silk and a pleasure to drive. That said, it has a date with the Volvo dealer on the 29th unless someone buys it beforehand.

So the final invoice came in at $6465.00! The Ext warranty cost $2100, rental for the period another $1900, so the actual saving was $2500 in round figures.
