MY 10 Update V6 Higline Wagon - Picked up

Hi All, picked up our new MY10 Update V6 highline Wagon on the weekend, though I would show a few differences subtle though some of them are!

Voice control is amazing, it controls most things on the RNS510 from Navigation to track listings on SD cards etc. I didn't have to train it to my voice, it just worked.

The interior has the new climate control system from the CC/Golf Mk6 etc.

Steering wheel is from the CC as well.

The chrome on the door handles and the key fob are now a shadow chrome, this also applies to the chrome trim on the speakers if you have Dynaudio.

V6 Highline now comes with memory seats, chicago alloys and MDI as standard.

just add [ img ] to the front of the link and [ /img ] to the end of the link without the spaces.

Photobucket also has an option to generate the code for you...

    Here they are:

    And are they R36 seats?

    Thanks Rocket for the postings!

no they are not R36 seats, they are along the same lines but without as much bolstering on the sides, and without the pneumatic side bolsters.

they certainly don't "grab" you as much as R36 seats, but they are a whole lot better than what was on the V6 models of yesteryear! quite comfortable to boot.

The minister for war and finance said wagon, so wagon it is, I really wanted park assist(no, not because I can't park) because I think it is amazing technology that I will probably not use very often but when I do it will amaze everyone!!! and it isn't available on an R36. Also we live in eltham and the R36 was just too low at the front and too firm in the ride for these parts. As addictive as the acceleration was in the R, I am enjoying the more "luxury" setup of the highline. and it is no slouch either, just not a rocket...

The dynamic Chassis Control is amazing, I have never felt such a difference in my life. on Comfort, it seems to have more compliance than my Father in laws 125TDI sedan, but on sport it approaches the firmness of the R36.

on the performance front, one of the reasons that the R36 is so quick is it is seriously shorter in its gearing, the V6 is doing about 2000 rpm at 100 km/h whereas the R36 was doing 2400 rpm (both indicated speed, not true speed)

Hi R34, yes it does have voice control for the sat nav, it can be used for everything for the head unit, last night I installed a bluetooth kit and it can also be used to operate my phone.!

Which Bluetooth kit did you install? Did you DIY or get it dealer fitted? Do you have/have you tested it with an iPhone?

    Cheers!
