    Mild Passat 118TSI ECU upgrade?

    Hi everyone,

Coming from GTI my 118TSI Passat is getting a bit boring at the moment
I was wondering if anyone has done APR (or any) ECU tuning on their 118TSI (1.8T)?

APR is quoting me $1200 for 30minute VAG job
which sounds a bit too much compare to USA pricing of $500

hope my DSG will hold up 305nm upgrade.

I had a jetta 2.0t and now have a 118tsi passat wagon. I know it's slightly slower than the gti but the passats a sweet free revving motor. I'm contplating a APR tune on the half yearly sale which should start soon.

You may be pushing your luck with DSG
Was very unreliable on Golf, although I believe Golf MK7 is redesigned.

That 5 year warranty period was only for a limited time.

    Old:
    Volkswagen New Vehicle Warranty
Every new Volkswagen passenger vehicle is covered by a 3-year unlimited kilometres
manufacturer’s warranty, which includes Volkswagen Assist (24hr roadside assistance).
Every new Volkswagen passenger vehicle is also covered by a 3-year paintwork and 12-year
anti-corrosion perforation warranty. In addition every new Volkswagen passenger vehicle
    has a 5 year/150,000km transmission warranty.

I just didn't want people to get the impression they have a 5 year warranty if the didn't buy the car during the limited period it was offered.
