Good to hear basic. Thanks for the heads up
I recently upgraded all my brakes from GSL about 6 months ago. I went with DBA T3 DBA42808S for the front and DBA T2 for the rear with Remsa pads all around. I think all up it was under $1000 and I was quoted around $1250 for OEM. I would say that the Remsa pads are average when cold (middle of the night etc) but warm up pretty quick and bite well then. They are really really bad on dust, probably worse than stock and if I hadnt just got them i would change them. What made it even more noticeable was when I plasti dipped my rims black and I had a dust coating over it. GSL also had a EOFY sale in June on for the same setup and it was only about $600 i think.

Hi again guys,
Finally received my rotors and pads today (ended up going with QFM because I was a bit skeptical over the ceramics bite. Might give it a go next time).
One thing I completely overlooked was the brake wear sensors, which don't come with the pads.
Am I able to re-use the existing sensors, or am I better off getting a set from VW? From what I recall reading, I believe the R36s only have sensors on the front?
If someone more experienced would be able to cast their opinion, that'd be awesome.
Cheers

The sensor is embedded in the pad so you would have to be pretty motivated to swap them over. Assuming that you are the kind of guy to look at your brakes more than every 15k, you can cut the wires off the old pads and electrically short them out, to stop the warning light coming on.

on my cc the sensor was only on the passenger front side.one of the reasons i didnt get the QFM was because they didnt have the sensor.
