Hello. Can anyone tell me where I can buy the white LED lights to replace the yellow ones? As a new R36 owner, this is the first modification that just has to be done!
I read through the previous topics and couldn't get a clear answer. Thanks in advance.

Hi
I've also been looking for these too and I can't seem to get the right ones. I'd also like to get the static turn lights changed to LED too, but I can't seem to find any CANBUS compatible H5 LED's. I've fitted NON CANBUS versions and that doesn't work, so I put the halogen ones back in. I also can't see how to get access to the parking lights to change them either!
If you do find a source, do let me know!
Good luck!

I have T10 LEDs for my parkers, LED festoon for my licence plate and LED for my reverse lamps. I have just ordered some LEDs for my turn signals - hoping they will work alright. I'm also in the process of getting some 6 LEDs for my puddle lights and footwells (need a brighter LED for coverage on the ground). The normal leds are not bright enough so I used them as the parkers above.
For the parkers, you gotta have small hands or just accept cuts/bruises on fitting them in as I did!
I don't think the static cornering can work will LEDs due to the fading light effect when turning off (someone correct me). A quality white Osram/Philip halogen might be a better option

Hi
I've done all of the interior lights except for the footwell ones. I had some LED's in the footwell sockets and they did work, but for only about 10 seconds and then they'd switch off for no reason. So I went back to the originals, but I would like to get them in LED too.
I didn't realise the reversing lights were halogen, I'll have to get that done too! Do you recall where you bought your reversing LED's from? And I assume that the rear fog light is also halogen too? Have you done the small vertical down lights in the side mirrors? If yes, I'd love to know how you get the lens off?
I had the small red reflectors in the doors replaced with white LED "puddle" lights, that was a good result, they really do light up where you're about to step! I put some red lighting gel filters in the rear doors so the horizontal view on them is red, but the vertical throw is still white, it looks kinda cool!
I'm sure the static cornering lights could be changed to LED too, but I need to find a CANBUS friendly H5 fittings. I have 2 x NON-CANBUS H5 LED's and whilst they do fit etc, they cause the CANBUS system to send an error and therefore they don't light up.
Then the front indicator lights would look cool in LED's too, do you know how to access them at all?
I might be getting a little obsessive about the LED changeover, but they sure do look way better and the light output is much stronger too, but once you start the changeover, its hard to stop!

You only need to push outward/forward the whole mirror assembly and it will lock into position and you will have access to a screw below it to dismantle the light assembly.
As for the parking lights, it's a bit tight to get into the location but with some trial & patience, you'll get there.
The reverse CREE leds I bought off Ebay. But I reckon getting one with leds on all sides of the led assembly is better than just a projector. For me it's just projects rearwards and not much the bottom bumper.
The front indicators has a screw to remove and disassemble the signal housing (look closely at the corner of the assembly)
Also just wondering, if anybody with a B6 (or better an R36) has these DRL installed:

Thanks for the tips, it'll be tomorrows project!
Those DRL's look quite good... I wonder how they'd work with the CANBUS system and where would you source power from?
I'd be keen to get a pair to try out, but the round hole/cavity for the fog lamps would just be an open hole wouldn't it, or am I missing something?

I am thinking it doesn't have the controller which controls the led intensity when the headlights are on thus the price. I believe its more to suit B6 with fogs. There are some sellers that provide a fog cover but think that spoils the R36 looks in my opinion.
Good luck on your LED installs. I'm still waiting for my turn signal LEDs to be shipped.

I bought them a few years back from iJDMtoys from the US direct. Couldn't remember which one. They have a sale every now and then.

They are quite lasting and not too dim/bright. I've seen some cars with very bright LED license plate but was too bright till it lit the road below :\
