Ipod compatibility MY12 Passat 125 Highline

    Hi All,

I'm new here. Finally purchased 2011 125tdi Highline!

only had it for a few days.

Plugged my ipod in, to the glovebox adaptor. Now on the head unit it says not supported?

What ipod verson can my vehicle support? I'll check what series my ipod is, i think its the latest one, the classic

    Thanks,

    Dan

daniel8810 you cannot plug your ipod cable directly into the glovebox adaptor. You need to purchase a media cable from your dealer (expensive) or get onto eBay and get one at a decent price. You don't mention what sort of ipod you are trying to connect - is is an iPod Classic or iPod Touch? Just make sure you get the right cable for your particular iPod. Hope the link below helps:

To get it to work you need that cable and it plugs into the Media socket Not the USB.

Sometimes with my old Iphone it said not supported but i just clicked it off and it worked It only charges with the cable provided with the car.. I found the phone wouldnt fit in the tray easily so just play music off an SD card Much easier.
