10000k's and zero problems from me, loving it. Stupidly good fuel economy and 0-80 acceleration keeps me smiling.

Think I've mentioned this in other threads.. just about to hit 10,000km and overall happy with the car.

Did have an issue with a fuel leak, caused by a warped fuel filter housing. Gearbox is terribly slack to engage reverse. Recently the front left brake has started randomly sticking a little bit at low speed and then it stops sticking after I press the brakes on firmly again.

Had an issue with the headlights collecting a lot of water but that seems to have self rectified.

Not VW's fault, but on my second windscreen already too - d'oh!!

Certainly loving the car overall though, sometimes I forget just how comfy it is. A quick ride in other cars (ie: WRX) soon confirms that the Passat is a great daily driver.

It's really annoying when in old b6 model they have
the folding mirror without having to opt for memory seats.
My old man has the Skoda Octavia with elec folding mirrors
    and manual operated seats.

Sorry cru22z; I am now on my second "old" B6 Passat and it was only on my first that had Memory Seats / Xenons etc. that had auto fold mirrors. It was activated by turning the mirror switch to the "fold" section...

Nope, nothing yet? What's the recall for?

edit: Just did some searching around - another fuel leak issue. What a joke. Slim chance of me buying another VW after this one if this keeps up...
