So guaranteed, the Stealerships drive em up and down the (Pick your state) metro Hume Highways/Princess Highways/Pacific highways it wont happen...

    10days report @ 650km
So far so good. The car is holding together well.
She's starting to loosen up and picks up more power.
Loving the ACC on freeways. The bi-xenon and Drl looks really great at night. No rattles or shakes

A few issues; pre delivery detailing screwed up my paint with a deep polisher swirls. The boot takes couple of go to shut. The SS sometimes can be annoying in a traffic situation.

Im taking her down for a 2000km run to Melb for the F1 and she how she performs on a full tank. I've done about 650km and fuel gauge just past the half tank.
    So far I'm loving it.

    Updates:
Washed her this afternoon with some Duragloss and noticed in the boot bumper where boot meets bumper there's lots of specks embedded in the paint. Looks like little opal specs. Could this be considered a paint defect that will require a respray??

cru, pleased to hear it mate, they are great cars.

Now get out there & enjoy the drive to Melbourne. I am betting you will come back with fuel figures in the low 5's....

Thanks Riker. I would think it will go low 5s. I've seen it high 5s during my short trip up the F3 freeway.

Drove from Tamworth to Sydney. By the end of the F3 I was on 4.7l. Overall usage down and back, into Sydney cbd was spot on 5.0l

Hmmm, 6.4l, could be due to the newness of the engine, after all it has literally had a week or two of motoring & you would of had a bit of a load right.

Woogler, 4.7l, is an outstanding figure.

Mine has 5000km and I cruised on 105. It is definitely a bit of a trip that is favouring more down hill when going South. However, my previous ride, another oil burner, would consistently pull 5.2 to the end of the f3 so I anticipated the Passat to surpass those figures which it did.

120 as opposed to 105 would bear a significance...

Yah I did the trip with only 670km on the odometer. I think the lowest it did was 6.2l when I dropped from 120km to 110 cruising. And the trip from syd to melb is pretty flat throughout.
However I'm still very happy to only have used 3/4 tank and still had a 1/4 left to do the Melbourne city trip. It was pretty consistent. Full tank each way. It's amazing compare to my straight 6s and V6s which uses 2 full tanks each way.
