HitmanR32 is Back... But with wagony TDI Goodness

    Hey guys,

    I'm back from the Dead

Just picked up a mint 2007 Passat TDI Sportswagon (With Comfortline Trim its like driving a sofa!!!)

Plan to ditch the 16's (Huge I know!!)
In favor for some 19" TSW Nurburgrings or something to that Effect

Haven't Chipped it yet.. but its plenty zippy and great to drive!

So far in the First two weeks care of GLIDN
    - Installed RCD310
    - Updated Can Gateway
    - Factory VW Bluetooth Retrofit
    - Factory VW MDI In Kit Retrofit

And I have started mucking about with my Interior Trim as I didnt like the boring Dotted Pattern Black and Silver Panels

Special thanks to 3M for being so innovative and inventing **** like this!

BBS Wheels have finished being De Curbed and been Straightened.... now at Powder Coaters awaiting a nice cote of Metallic Silver and Clear.!!

Then some Nice 235/45/18's Pilot Sport 3s to keep them warm!

Also decided to ditch the RCD310 in favour of the Touch Screen RCD510

So if anyone wants a Mint RCD310 (compatible with Aussie FM/AM Radio Stations) I have one Going reso Cheap 120aud

Also have Lamin-X Tint on the Headlights and Half the Tail Lights (I ****ed up the outter halves so waiting for replacement Outters to arrive from the US... FML!!!

Also Ordered in some New Genuine VW Centre Caps for the BBS RCs (NZD95.00 EACH ex germany)

Turns out they dont fit.. but thats ok i Can hybrid them with the Exisiting Factory BBS Centre caps that came with the RCS.. to get genuine VW Centre Caps (with the Domes!!)

The Differences between the BBS RC Centre cap and the VW Centre Caps for the VW BBS RCs...

    Update January 2012

Completed a complete retrofit of VW Optical Parking System to operate In my Wagon

It was a 3 half day job (over a long weekend) lots of customizing a golf loom to fit etc etc. but now its installed and works like a dream!!

Opted not to have two of the sensors in the chrome grille like where vw puts them i made my own holes in the painted part of thebumper to install them.

    The kit was from carsystems.pl

its very do able but involves some ingenuity

    Update February 2012:

Busted my shoulder and off work so my girl took my car to finally get my 18x8.5 bbs RC306s

    Let me know your thoughts
.... looks ok it will probably grow on me or i'll peel em and get them blacked instead

Undecided about centre caps atm might switch the black nut to the polished ones

Only rubs in the rear slightly when fully loaded and it rubs on the arch plastic liner no biggie
