Converted to a MFA Premium Cluster with Rline Needles and 280kmh scale

Also changing dash trim to brushed alloy

Will also be changing my bluetooth kit today to theatest A2dp version

Only issue is the comfort menu doesnt show. But thats no big drama as i never use it any way and i still have vag com to change that crap

But the install and code with vag com was unbelievably easy
Hey man, these dials loock awesome! Was it easy to get them out? Or did it require hours of trim removal...

In all honesty flying blind i had to fugure it out bit by bit some of the trim needed to be pulled hard to get them to unclip but no complete trim removal was required i removed enough just to slip the cluster in and out all in all a peice of piss

Cool, well it doesn't sound too hard. I'm thinking the instrument cluster in mine could be faulty as I have to bash the top of the dash every ten mins to stop a thousand warning lights coming on... It's starting to really annoy me

You can get it all from Carsystems.pl

They a bit pricy but **** their shipping times and service is great... You will need vag com to hook it up

Since starting the MK2 the Passat isn't really getting modded any more...

However did decide to do one thing that pissed me off

I decided to kill the rear fog and re pin the rear fog on the CECM to the position of being a Right hand side reverse light

some editing in vag com a new European LHD Spec Reverse Light and voila my cars ass has some rear symmetry and has eliminated a never used rear foglamp.

If i really want the rear fog to work I can alter the right hand brake light to double as both.. (but wont bother at this stage)

Also got some LED bulbs for the reverse lights too.
