general issues/problems with 2007 Passat V6 awds?

hi all

am on the lookout to buy a 2007 build Passat V6 awd sedan

Been on this forum for a few months (as I did have Golf GTI) which I just sold.


Could current/past owners of Passat V6 (2006-current) please share their views on:
1. rattles
2. AC performance
3. wind and tyre noise

I've been through this forum and google and couldn't really find any general problems (apart from rattles, which I think are a VW 'trait'!)

anything else that I should consider?

I don't have any rattles in mine.

A/C performance is fine on the hottest days I've experienced in Sydney (very fast to cool down).

Wind noise I've never noticed and tyre noise really does depend on the tyres ...

Rattles - minimal for me (MY07 V6)
AC - Not as good as my older Audi A4 Quattro, but not too bad.
Wind - no probs so far, and road noise - just took off the Pirelli Rossos (18's) and replaced with Michellen PS3 and like them more.
