No service interval on the cam chain, but the timing belt is due every 105,000kms or 7 years.

I'd say you'd be looking around $1000 for an independent to do it, give take $100 or so.

Worth giving Miro (Transporter on here) a ring, and see what he can do.

Hi Umai can you please advice where and what VAG I should buy.

Would like to tamper with some of the settings and do system checks my self down the road.

    Thanks

I'm running a copy of VAS-PC, which is (was) the dealership software.

I wouldn't recommend it unless you're an IT guru, because it's taken me about 12 months of stuffing around to get it to consistantly work. You're probably better off with VCDS, which has a lot more support from both the developers and it's userbase. There's a few different versions of it, and are priced accordingly, so you'll need to work out which one suits you.

Thanks for the prompt reply ...

I do have an IT background but I am an IT bum atm so will definitely stay away from what you using lol

I am assuming your talking about the following product.

    Ross-Tech Store: VCDS

The question is which one do I get ?
I have no idea what the different ones are but surely I don't need the pro version.
