Funny you should say 15L per 100, that's exactly what I budgeted as an overall figure

15L isn't that bad I guess.......esp compared to my 18L 4WD. Then again the first few weeks will be closer to 20L with the foot planted to the floor lolol

I took the car for it's first long drive yesterday and the economy was great.

I thought 7.5lt/100km was good around town... I'm getting 5.8lt/100km on the freeway

That's great economy.

At the moment, I get about 11lts/100km around town and about 9 on a trip, depending on my top speed of course.

I took my new 3.2 wagon (still only 1200km) up to the Hunter Valley last weekend. Sat on the speed limit on the freeway (110kph). Averaged 8.1L/100k which I thought was pretty impressive for such a tight engine with so much grunt. Getting about 10 to 11 around town - a far cry from the 16.5 from my former Terror-tory AWD.

MY mate cant get better than 18 so I'm impressed but OMG a second mortgage to run the car.
