It's such a quiet piece of road too (from Sutton Forrest McDonalds to Nowra) and as long as there's some hair on ya balls, if you come to something slower you can usually get by pretty quick.
If you guys don't mind, I might try to make it too, if I can.

    Model : Passat R36 Wagon
    Year : 2009
    Mods: nil
Fuel : Mostly Shell and Caltex 98 variants
Air Conditioning: usually on (I reckon drivers foot makes more difference than having A/C on or off)
Consumption: computer 2 says 10.4 average after 90 hours of driving.
I expect 500km -ish between refills around town, often get better.
Can get under 10.0 driving home (25km) if late (not much traffic) and I'm chilled out. More like over 11 if out of D and in S or using tiptronic heaps.
Trip computer forecasts over 700km from tank on long highway runs but my destinations are usually not that far away, so never tested it.
