Those who have forked out the extra for the Dynaudio and who have experienced the basic system as well seem to agree that it is money well spent. Depends how much music you listen to, how much it means to you. how much you are willing to pay for it and becomes a matter of personal choice but the general opinion here and on other forums is that it is money well spent if you are really into in car music.

I Beg to differ on that one, when I sold my R36, the guy specifically wanted one with Dynaudio, and so did the guy who turned up just as I had done the deal, I think I got a good price for my R36 because it had Dynaudio.

What exactly do you get with the Dynaudio upgrade? Is it the same number of speakers just different brand? $2000 is a bargin for a well tuned high end audio system as long as its more than 8 speakers.
