Cant say that I have noticed excessive heat. You did check that the seat warmer wasn't turned on?
Hi all
Had an extended test drive of an r36 today. Found the microfibre upholstery made me feel odd...maybe a little hot. Does it get sweaty compared to leather?
Why didnt they just make it full leather on the top passat car?
Overall the car felt good but heavy and less powerful than i expected unless the engine was really gunned
Nice navigator except it doesnt have my home susburb which is one of the oldest suburbs here in canberra!

I've done a couple of 6 hour trips (with only one or two stops each) and never found it to be a problem. The weather wasn't that warm at the time but equally it wasn't freezing either.
I have microfibre on one of my lounges at home and in warmer weather it is actually more pleasant than my leather one.
Agree on the power aspect of the car. You really have to keep the rev's up to get the most out of it.

I'd go with the theory that the seat warmers were turned on.
The microfibre is fabulous. Had the R36 come with leather I wouldn't have bought one.
Test drove a couple of Audi's with leather and ended up with a wet shirt on a mild day.
The fact you can't option an Audi A4,A5 in Aust without leather swung the sale to the R36

no...the seat warmers were definetely not on!!! or at least the switches were at '0'
Perhaps it was just the excitement/nervousness of driving this car
