    Please give us more info
I've been trying to talk to my VW servicing dealer to see if the throttle could be remapped.
I'd always thought the throttle actuation was the culprit to making the car feel more lethargic than it should.
Is it adjustible to make it more responsive rather than too touchy?
    Cheers

I did a fair bit of googling on this 'SprintBooster', and it seems there are many positive comments on the acceleration response on the Passat and many European cars that uses the DBW (drive by wire).
As advertised, it only amplifies the throttle amount, which is what our R36 needs...just the cost is putting me back..but I'm happy for more feedback on the R36. Cheers.

It's the best $300 I have ever spent. Really changes the characteristic's if the car and make it more joyable to drive.

Good news. Where did you put the unit and how easy was it to install?

Could you post some photo of the installation near the pedal and the LED thing!

    Update: Found it!

For those interested, our R36 remap will be incorporating a new throttle response table to make the car feel much more alive. Purchasing and installing a device just for this difference in feel without actually increasing the maximum available power/torque I can understand enhances the overall character of the car, but with proper ECU remaps available I would hope people would opt for the latter (albeit at a little over double the cost).

Not sure why you are so confused with DSG
On my polo it works like clocks — it will go up at 1500-2000 in "D" mode and on 3000-3200 in "Sport", sport also limiting it to 5 gears down from 7. Quite happy with it.

p.s. my polo is nowhere near a sport car though.
