Select Mirror down in your MFD screen, make sure selection is ON..... make sure the mirror is set to the Left mirror, when reverse is selected the left mirror should drop, once D or S is selected and as soon as you get over 15km/h the mirror should revert back to normal.

The rear wiper only works automatically if you are in reverse if the front wipers are on, in either sensor mode or in either of the fully on modes (which I assume you know) and I think the rear will only work if the front rain sensor wipe has actually been triggered by rain. So, if the front rain sensor is on, from when you previously parked the car and turned the car off, the rear will only turn on if the front wipers have sensed rain and actually do a sweep and not if the sensor is on and have not done a sweep. At least this seems to be the way mine works.
