For similar reasons as yours we seriously considered the beige seats. But having had a car some years ago with that seat colour which showed notably more wear than another with darker seats, *and* actually being warned off by the dealer once we told of our normal usage pattern (sitting in it with grubby riding gear and such), we went for black after all.

We're hoping that the thermal glass from the sports package will mitigate the heating up of the seats.

The dealer also added that because you will see more wear and tear on the beige, they resale value tends to suffer more than with black. Maybe something to consider.

Yes probably but as mine has only done 10,000km in 2 years wear wont be a problem. Also I NEVER use it with old or dirty clothes on.

Its our "Sunday" car LOL and the Polo is the everyday ride for short runs

Have taken delivery of 130TDI sedan. Desert beige seats terrific match to Autumn Brown. Saw Night blue metallic with Desert beige,
rather a stark contrast. But in my case, no passengers to talk of, so easy to keep clean
