I hope you're right mate. Fully compatible and fully integrated are two VERY different things though.

MEDIA–IN allows external audio sources such as iPod’s, hard disk drives, and USB devices to be connected to the radio or radio navigation system via the MEDIA-IN multimedia plug. The new product is compatible with RCD 310, RCD 510 as well as RNS 510.
